Before generating a Spark Ad code, creators need to turn on ad permissions. Here’s how: Go to Settings & Privacy > Creator Tools > Ad Settings - Toggle on Ad Authorization
Open the TikTok app and go to your Profile. Find the video you want to turn into a Spark Ad. Tap the “...” (More options) in the lower right-hand corner. Scroll and tap Ad settings
In the Ad settings menu, toggle on Ad authorization. Read and accept TikTok’s advertising terms. Tap Generate code – TikTok will create a unique Spark Ad code for this video
By default, Spark Ad codes last 30 days, but creators can extend this timeframe before sharing. If you want the brand to promote your video for a longer period, tap Extend and adjust the duration.
Once generated, TikTok will give you an option to Copy code. Paste it in a DM, email, or text to the brand. The brand will then enter the code into TikTok Ads Manager to activate the Spark Ad
